One Down, Ninety-nine To Go is a collection of original tunes written for or inspired by my grandson, produced as a birthday gift for his first birthday. My grandson was an important collaborator on the album, playing the fetal heart on “The Grandpa and Grandson Boogie” and co-writing the lyrics and singing on “One Down, Ninety-nine To Go.” Available on:

Pure Pronghorn, is an instrumental compilation of original tunes, played on acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, octave mandolin, bass guitar, harmonica, bongos, laptop cajon, and hand percussion instruments. It is available from all standard streaming services, including:

Just Another Pronghorn's first album, You Can Be Who You Want To Be, an instrumental compilation of original and cover tunes, is available from:

Once a proud member of Lucy and the Pronghorns, Johnny drifted for decades in a music-free landscape after the sudden departure of Lucy in the early 80s. That began to change when Covid descended on the planet and Johnny discovered mandolins. And then, in the heart of the pandemic, Johnny discovered that he was able to get hours of playing in during long administrative Zoom meetings at work with his microphone muted and camera turned off. For the first time in his life Johnny found himself actually being paid while playing music. Thus began his short and lucrative career as a professional musician (though alas, his performances were only heard by his dog). No longer with a paycheck but with abundant time, Johnny reconnected with his origins and bonded anew with the instruments that initiated his journey, the guitar and harmonica. And so he finds himself once again roaming the deserts and high mountains in search of Lucy in hopes of reuniting with her once again, and calling out through his music in hopes that she might hear.

Johnny plays regularly at open mics in the Fort Collins area.
